Space-saving Compact Design

Time-saving and Easy Wiring
- Equipped with a vibration-resistant push-in terminal block for tool-free wiring. The removable terminal block allows separate wiring, improving efficiency.

- Screen resolution: Approx. 5.0 times higher.
- Panel area: Approx. 1.06 times larger than conventional models.
- Display area: Approx. 1.35 times larger than conventional models.

Analog I/O
- 12-bit resolution with built-in analog I/O to control analog signals (0 to 10V DC / 4 to 20mA). Analog output is available on the transistor output model only.
- An analog potentiometer connected to the analog input allows easy configuration of analog settings, such as a timer.
- Suitable for small-scale applications requiring analog I/Os.
PID Control
- A PID algorithm with cascade control is available for temperature, flow, or pressure control applications.
Wide Range of Control Functions
High-speed Counter
- The single-phase (20kHz) 4-point, single-phase (20kHz)/two-phase (10 kHz) 1-point high-speed counter can count high-speed pulses. It is useful for applications such as rotary encoders for tracking or flow meters for fluid volume control.
Dual CPU Configuration for High-speed Processing
- The FT2J uses two CPUs working in parallel, unlike conventional products with a single CPU for both HMI and control functions. This enables high-speed, real-time control without compromising HMI functionality.
Expansion Cartridge with Flexible I/O Expandability
- Up to 2 digital I/O cartridges or analog I/O cartridges can be connected, adding up to 8 digital I/O and 4 analog I/O. This makes it easy to add inputs/outputs when devices are changed or updated.
High Environmental Resistance
- Wide Operating Temperature Range: Suitable for use in environments ranging from -20°C to +55°C. (*3)
- High Water Resistance: IP66F / IP67F protection. Resistant to direct water jets.

High Visibility
- The glass PCAP touchscreen offers high visibility, durability, and functionality. The surface is resistant to scratches, water, and oil, and can be cleaned with disinfectants or a cloth soaked in highly concentrated chemicals like alcohol.

- The FT2J features a 7-inch LCD for the widest range of operator interface applications. The intuitive user interface is customizable with graphs and complex parts.
Touchscreen Durability
- The FT2J uses a PCAP touchscreen, which is more durable than the analog resistive touchscreens used in conventional products. Unlike analog screens that degrade over time due to mechanical movement, the PCAP touchscreen uses a sensor board to detect touch through changes in electric charge, preventing mechanical deterioration. It also supports multi-touch sensing and prevents unintended activation by water droplets. Gloves less than 1.5mm thick can be used. (*1)
Prevention of Clouding from UV Exposure
- The surface of the FT2J has a glass top structure that maintains high visibility and prevents deterioration or clouding from UV rays over time. (*2)
- *2: If used in UV-exposed locations, apply a UV protective film to prevent degradation of non-glass parts.
