Anfield Gear Pumps
Anfield hydraulic gear pumps feature a durable floating bushing design with high-strength cold-extruded aluminum bodies capable of withstanding pressures over 4000 psi. Key models include the AP-10, AP-20, AP-20A, AP-29, AP-30, and AP-HL, with some featuring cast iron end caps or full cast iron construction (AP-HL). They are available in SAE, ISO, and DIN flange styles with various shaft and port configurations. Anfield pumps are highly efficient, with volumetric efficiency up to 98% and mechanical efficiency up to 93%.
Fluid Requirements: These pumps should be used with non-foaming, anti-oxidizing, non-corrosive hydraulic oil that meets DIN 51524-2 standards. Oil cleanliness must meet at least ISO 4406 code 18/16/13, and new oil should exceed class 10 NAS 1638.
Filtration: To avoid pump failures due to contamination, recommended filtration is 25 microns or better.
System Design: Hydraulic lines should avoid sharp restrictions and tight bends. Reservoir capacity should be roughly twice the pump's one-minute delivery volume.
Model Overview:
- AP-0: A high-pressure mini gear pump with an aluminum construction, suitable for smaller applications with flow rates from 0.009 to 0.012 cubic inches per revolution (cipr).
- AP-1: Mini gear pump for flow rates from 0.06 to 0.48 cipr.
- AP-10, AP-20, AP-29, AP-30: Various SAE gear pumps with increasing flow capacities (0.07 to 5.43 cipr).
- AP-HL, AP-HFL: Hi-Lo pumps with higher flow capacities (8-28 GPM).
Operational Parameters:
- Filtration: 25 micron or better
- Viscosity: 20 to 100 mm²/s
- Inlet Pressure: 12-32 psi absolute
-
Temperature Range:
- Oil: -25°C to 80°C (-12°F to 175°F)
