The Gast 2AM-NCW-7A is a compact, lubricated, 4-vane rotary air motor designed to provide variable-speed rotary power using compressed air. Rated up to 0.95 HP with a maximum speed of 3,000 RPM and maximum operating pressure of 100 PSI (7 bar), this model provides clockwise rotation for industrial equipment, OEM machinery and applications where pneumatic power is preferred. The motor weighs approximately 4.2 lb and has a maximum sound level of 76 dBA. Speed and torque can be controlled by regulating the air pressure supplied to the motor. The 2AM Series can be installed in any orientation, providing flexibility when integrating the motor into machinery where mounting position or available space may be limited. Gast recommends clean, properly filtered and lubricated compressed air for reliable performance and service life. As a non-electrical air motor, the 2AM-NCW-7A is designed for use in demanding industrial environments, including appropriately classified hazardous locations involving combustible gas and dust.
