The Gast 1AM-NRV-39A is a compact, lubricated and reversible rotary vane air motor designed to provide variable-speed rotary power using compressed air. Rated up to 0.42 HP with a maximum speed of 10,000 RPM, it provides an alternative to an electric motor for industrial equipment, OEM machinery and applications where pneumatic power is preferred. The reversible design allows the motor to operate in either direction, while speed and torque can be controlled by regulating the air supplied to the motor. The 1AM-NRV-39A can be installed in any orientation, giving machine builders flexibility when integrating the motor into equipment where mounting space or orientation may be limited. As a non-electrical air motor, the 1AM-NRV-39A is designed for use in demanding industrial environments, including appropriately classified hazardous locations involving combustible gas and dust. Properly sized air lines, filtration, pressure regulation and lubrication are important for achieving reliable performance and service life.
