Low Profile Electric Slider: EW2G Series

The EW2G Low Profile Electric Slider is designed to deliver high rigidity and high accuracy in a compact form. It is the first actuator in the industry to offer low profile with high rigidity, making it a versatile solution for applications that require precise motion control.

Key Features:

• Compact and High-Rigidity Design: The EW2G combines a compact DC brushless motor with Koganei’s highly reliable Mini Guide Slider series, offering low profile while maintaining excellent rigidity and accuracy.

• High Accuracy Positioning: With a repeatability of stopping accuracy of ±0.005 mm (when using an external stopper), the EW2G guarantees precise positioning for a wide range of applications.

• Intermediate Stops, Speed Control, and Thrust Settings: The system allows for flexible operation with features such as intermediate stops and speed control. External stopper usage provides stroke adjustment mechanisms for highly accurate movement.

• Simple Control: It offers a straightforward ON/OFF control mode, similar to that of an air cylinder, making it easy to operate.

Mounting Options:

• Three brackets available for vertical mounting of the actuator.
• Stroke length options range from 10 mm to 100 mm, with different configurations depending on the motor size and stroke length.

Environment Considerations:

• Measures against foreign objects are available in certain configurations, but not in the EW2G□R fixed table specification.
